You must be 18 years or older to get tattooed with us. We do not tattoo minors regardless of parental consent. At the time of your tattoo, you must present a valid physical state or federal ID (such as a passport, state issued driver’s license, or state ID card). We cannot accept expired documents or photos/copies of documents.
UNDER THE AGE OF 18
Select services are offered to persons under the age of 18.
For those aged 17, parent/legal guardian does not need to be present in the service room and is not required to stay for services of the minor, but parent/legal guardian MUST still present all required paperwork/documentation upon arrival.
For those aged 16 and under, parent/legal guardian MUST be present and in the service room during services. All required paperwork/documentation must also still be presented upon arrival.
Florida law requires us to have a written notarized consent form in order for us to legally perform piercing services on minors. This form is not optional and must be filled out correctly and in full prior to your scheduled appointment. The required consent form can be found here: http://www.floridahealth.gov/environmental-health/body-piercing/_documents/notarized-parental-consent.pdf
Please review our example form on this page for how to properly complete the form. If the form is filled our incorrectly or is missing information, we cannot accept it and will not be able to preform services that day. We do not have a notary on site so the form must be notarized prior to your arrival. If you have booked an appointment that requires a deposit, the deposit is automatically forfeited in the case of missing or forgotten IDs/paperwork.
Minors are required to present a valid physical photo ID (such as a passport, driver’s permit, driver’s license, or state ID card) regardless of age. If the minor does not have any form of state/federally issued photo ID then we can accept a physical school ID instead, as long as it less than 2 years old and is accompanied by the minors’ birth certificate. Parent/legal guardians must also also present their valid physical ID at the time of services. Please note that if parent/guardian and minor IDs do not display or have matching last names and addresses, then you will need to bring proof of legal guardianship such as a birth certificate or court documentation.
*We do not pierce infants or children under the age of 5.*
We cannot accept the following as form of ID:
- Social Media
- Social Security Card
- Health Insurance Card
- Report Cards
- School Websites
- Dental Cards
- Photos/Copies of ID’s
- Expired ID/Documents
OVER 18- At the time of your piercing, you must present a valid physical state or federal ID (such as a passport, state issued driver’s license, or state ID card). We cannot accept expired documents or photos/copies of documents.
We thoroughly check and confirm all IDs as real and any attempt to use a fake ID will result in termination of services. It is punishable by law to attempt to use any other person’s ID aside from your own to acquire piercing services.*
